Main Stalls
Main stalls are stalls in your stable for your two-year-olds and upward that are active in training and racing. These horses are not eligible to breed at all, but they can be "Retired to Stud/Broodmare" if they are four-years-old or older. Retiring to Stud/Broodmare moves these horses to the Breeding Stalls to be available for breeding, but they cannot return to the Main Stalls to race or train again. When purchasing a new horse, it is important to make sure they are located in the Main Stable if you wish to race or train them.
Breeding Stalls
The Breeding Stalls are where your yearlings and breeding horses (your stallions and broodmares) will be located. Once yearlings become two-year-olds, they can be moved into the Main Stalls to begin training and racing. However, horses that are not two cannot be moved into the Main Stable at any time. Stallions and broodmares that are four-years-old and older must be located in these stalls to be eligible for breeding, but will not be eligible for training or racing.
